She is self-aware and able to navigate the tumultuous waves with more confidence and elegance.

The first step to do in order to understand these patterns is to chart your menstrual cycle.
By charting your menstrual cycle you’ll see that you’re following a pattern. If you learn to feel your body, if you learn how your body is working, then you will be able to understand how to move accordingly.
For example, if you’re super excited on day 15 of your cycle and you know this, you won’t say yes to everything that your friends are asking, because you know that afterward, you won't have the energy to do that, to keep your promises. So the first thing to do here is to chart your menstrual cycle. And believe me, you will see patterns, and you’ll learn and get benefit from it. For this, I'm using two apps. One is called Clue, the other one is Hormonology, you can find it on the name “Hormone Horoscope Lite” and both are very very nice. What I like about hormonology is the short hormonal horoscope they give you every day. it's very precise--not all, of course, and obviously it changes from person to person because we're all different, but give it a try. It's very funny. I mean funny in the way that you see how much we are not in control of our emotions, especially the strong ones.
